A woman’s connection to her sensuality and pleasure is a reclamation of her power.

Her sensuality is the felt sense of her aliveness, experienced within the body.

The pursuit of pleasure is not about hedonism or simply feeling “good.”

It is about being in the truth and reality of our sensory experience.

Your desire, imagination, and pleasure matter.

The time to emerge is now.

Like a mushroom emerging from the earth, we are reminded our history does not need to be wasted. We can process this history to create something new and useful.

Patriarchal systems have long shamed, ignored or dominated women’s sensuality and pleasure.  Our bodies have been objectified, sexualized and traumatized.

We have been trained to comply, self-abandon and accommodate others needs at our own expense.

Our experience of the erotic has been been distorted and co opted.

There is another way.

The call for women to reclaim their pleasure and power is loud and invites new possibilities.  When we nurture our embodied pleasure and sensuality, we expand what is possible not just for our ourselves but for the world.

Embodied pleasure and sensuality are about living with a deep sense of trust in yourself. When we expand our emotional capacity for joy and pleasure, we expand our capacity to make meaningful change in our lives, our communities and our world.

We cannot simply talk about what needs to change. The transformation needs to be grounded in the body and held with the support of the collective.

Your Guide

My name is Natalie Benway-Correll

I believe a life well lived is possible when we connect with the truth of our bodies, the power of our voice and the belonging we experience when we recognize we don’t have to do it alone.

As a survivor of sexual trauma, I have spent a good part of my life feeling disconnected from myself.   In my healing process, I slowly began to come home to the inherent wisdom and safety of my body. I learned to accept and respond skillfully to sensation which made pleasure and feeling good accessible to me.

The more I validated my own felt experience in a safe container, the more I opened to the DE LICIOUS complexities of embodied pleasure!

Your body is a miracle, and it is our divine birthright to feel pleasure.

When we are connected to our sensuality, we are connected to life.

What a gift!

Program Details

Inspired by the work of Sonya Reneee Taylor’s book My Body is not an Apology, EMERGE will explore 3 essential processes for cultivating Embodied Sensuality and Pleasure. We cannot simply talk about what needs to change.

The transformation needs to be grounded in the body and held within the support of the collective.

This 3-step process addresses our: Thinking | Doing | Being

Emerge is for you if:

  • You want to improve your self-confidence.

  • You are ready to experience freedom in your body.

  • You want to understand how to let go of a sense of duty, compliance, perfectionism or lack of imagination in all aspects of your life.

  • You are hungry to know more about how a calm nervous system leads to deeper access to your pleasure.

  • You want to feel connected to the felt experience of pleasure, joy and sensuality.

  • You want to understand what an embodied and satisfying erotic life means to you.

  • You want to identify strategies for navigating pleasure with yourself and others, instead of avoiding or repressing desires.

  • You want to create safety and security in your body so you can reclaim your full body yes’s, no’s and maybe’s.

  •  You want to uproot old expectations and narratives about feminine pleasure and sensuality and allow new pathways to EMERGE!

We invite all those who identify as female, femme, trans, non-binary, or genderqueer to participate.

Emerge provides a pathway to:

  •  Improved confidence and reclamation of embodied pleasure.

  • Emotional regulation and movement techniques.

  • A trauma informed; brave space led by licensed psychotherapist, Natalie Benway-Correll LISW.

  •  Daily practices to help you nourish and grow your capacity to receive pleasure.

  •  Grounding practices for nervous system regulation.

  • Somatic exercises exploring consent and compliance.

  • A clear trauma informed process to nurture your sensual nature.

  • Improved erotic expression and communication.
