Astrology Overview of Major Seasonal Transits
Hello and welcome to the Aries season overview. So first, if you haven't already, go to the general Aries Season overview. I’m going to dive a bit more into some of the transits that are occurring during Aries Season. And I'm gonna do my best to explain the astro lingo as I go along.
When I say transits, I mean specific movements of stars, planets, and constellations. When I say aspects, I mean how these planets and stars are moving in relation to one another. In Aries season, really all of 2026. We are experiencing some intense and once in a lifetime transits.
Starting off we already have Aries in Neptune and Saturn. If you listen to the overview or if you've already listened to your horoscopes, you've heard me mention that Aries is a sign connected to themes like inspiration, courage, going after what it is that you want, showing up, showing out, ego. It's connected to archetypes like the warrior, leader, boss, authority figure. Aries is also connected to the element fire. So heat, action, movement. And we have this sign already in Neptune and Saturn.
In astrology, Neptune is a mysterious, mischievous planet. Neptune likes to dissolve things and bring illusion. I see it as the veil. Also, what is happening behind, under, and around it. It's also connected to Pisces. Think spirituality, psychic abilities, healing. So you can see how Neptune being in a sign of Aries can be kind of conflicting, because Aries likes to be seen and Neptune likes to kind of weave itself through the cracks. To be mysterious, to cause a little trickery here or there.
We have these two conflicting energies playing out in the collective. You know, we see a lot of things right now around AI. About what's really happening with data centers behind the scenes. The advancement of AI leading to the sharing of new information, new types of information, but not always being sure if it's accurate or who is benefiting.
We also have the actual dissolution of certain systems that we have been a part of or reliant on for a really long time and it's happening quickly and there's a lot of heat around it. And alongside this we have Aries in Saturn.
Saturn, depending on what framework or what lens of astrology you're working with, is associated with patterns, with systems that are old, long-lasting, and hold up kind of like the fabric of our culture and of our civilizations, connected to the sign of Capricorn, which is connected to long and steady movement and practice and work.
Capricorn doesn't get a lot of shout out or recognition for being earth and water science. It is a sea goat. So being able to go deep into the ocean to retrieve wisdom, to retrieve resources and bring it back up. So what we're seeing right now is disruption in a lot of our resources. Disruption in a lot of the things that we thought worked one way but actually are another. We're seeing a lot of heat and war and conflict that's impacting a lot of our food systems, our fuel.
This is also a time where people are talking about what can we build next? What systems and structures can we build to be supportive of our people during times of collapse? And so these are themes, these are things that are already in the atmosphere at the beginning of Aries season.
I want to take a pause to talk a little about the movement of planets. In astrology the pace of transits matter. How fast, how slow do these planets move through signs and what does that mean about what we might be experiencing.
Saturn, while it is a planet associated with long-term patterns of the system and ancient systems, the bones. Dr. Sherri Taylor, who I’ve gotten to know through embodied astrology, references Saturn as being the bone mother. So I think of archetypes who rule and lead civilizations. And/ or the ancestors or the Egungun if you are of an ATR background. This planet, though it deals with things that are slow moving, is a relatively fast moving planet it goes through signs every two and half you know three years we connected with the Saturn return.
While Neptune is a more slow moving planet. It goes through a sign every 14 years and so it won't go through the whole astrology family, all 12 signs for a while. It takes about 165 years to happen. Again, these movements carry different weight. So we may be experiencing things or transits that are tied back to ones that our ancestors experienced as well.
This could be something to be thinking about. How have your communities or family experienced certain transits across time?
Okay next moving to the Cazimi that's on March 25th. The day before this membership officially launches we have a Saturn Cazimi. In traditional astrology, Cazmi stems from the Arabic term. Cazimi means, “as if in the heart of the sun”. These are times when planets move directly into the center to the heart of the sun. And the energy of that planet of that sign is intensified and purified by the heat and the rays of the sun.
With Saturn being an Aries, I just feel like this transit is even more boosted, it's even more heated, there's even more tension and movement around it.
I would check out what Aries placements are in your, where we're at on your chart. If you have, you know your birth time reading your rising sign. If you don't, your sun and moon placements.
But I think what's burning at this time or what's being purified is long held systems that need to burn. Patterns of individualism, of urgency, of desire for quick fixes, but also doubt and fear. Fear of the unknown, fear of stepping out, fear of fighting. Work with this cazimi to burn away any doubt or insecurity you have about your role in the revolution. And also burn away any thoughts that it's all up to you. That you're the only one who can fix it to fight. Because sometimes that pressure we put is an obstacle for us to move at all.
We might see things in the collective actually burning and crashing as well. Mother Earth is rightfully pissed off and attempting to cleanse herself through fire and water. Prepare your body, prepare your spirit for collective crash out.
March 28th we have Saturn and Aries sextiling Pluto and Aquarius. In astrology, sextiles mean that the planets are within a 60degree angle of one another. It's also typically when two planets in fan hits who are in different signs, but complimentary elements are in relationship to one another. In this case, air and fire and air and fire fuels one another. So again, heat, action, movement, intensity will be experienced around this time.
In the collective we will continue to experience and witness big, intense transformation because Saturn governlens our systems and structure.
Pluto is about transformation, but transformation that is not pretty or cute transformation that completely revitalizes the terrain and the environment. Pluto also likes to clear out systems and rulers that are unjust, un-ethical. That is harmful to the environment or to civilizations and under empire we have a lot of those systems and patterns that are harmful that are unethical that create experiences of marginalization and harm.
So, there's a lot of material for Saturn and Pluto to be working with at this time to be burning up and I think on the collective we also might be witnessing battles of wills.
Battles between old outdated ancient systems and ones that are wanting to be born.
I think the full moon on April 1st in Libra gives us an opportunity or gives us some support around this cleansing, around this purification. There's full moons traditionally in a lot of ancient practices. You'll hear me talk about this in the horoscope risings, but full moons are a good time for relief or cleansing, or working with water to purify.
This is a good time for spiritual baths.
A good time to do work around transforming landscapes, transforming patterns, systems um away from inequality or its quality because Libra is represented by the scales in astrology. It's about balance, about harmony. It's Venus rules. They get a bad wrap for being flighty, but they're also diplomatic. They know how to get shit done. They know how to find the spaces where people can collaborate.
In ancient astrology venus and I would say Libra, to a certain extent is connected to the queen warrior, goddess archetype. There is a story about the descent of Venus that's connected to the goddess Ianna.
Who brings shadows to the surface, who witnesses her sister's deep pain, and that witnessing in itself is what helps her to ascend, is what actually brings her back to life.
During this full moon, I think it would be a good time to cleanse and wash away personal experiences that we've had around harm. Particularly around gender, around sexuality, around women's issues.
Full moons are also a time of illumination. They're heavy and bright in the sky, illuminating the landscapes around us metaphorically and physically, and it's a good time to manifest insight or clarity around the practices, the spaces, the people that can help to obtain balance and harmony and equality at this time, or how you can be a warrior of these themes. You can help to create cultures and systems of balance, harmony and justice.
It can also be a good time to sit in gratitude for the communities that do uplift you, for the communities that you're a part of that do care about creating systems of care, of justice who are willing to stand up and fight.
Speaking of fighting on April 13th we'll have Mars and Aries coming together again with Neptune and Ares. So this may be a good time to experiment with new tactics of fighting against Empire.
We cannot continue to use the same practices, same tactics, the same language that we've had in the past. I think of Hoodo/ root worker elder Arthur Flowers. I took Hoodoo course with Juju Bae and Arthur Flowers was an elder who led a workshop and he talked a lot about how the revolution needs to look different. That we need to tap into this trickster energy.
We can work with Neptune to come up with new ways of fighting, with new ways of going against empire and it might look more underground than we've had in the past. Remember Neptune likes the illusion, it likes to live between the cracks.
Also do not assume that you know everything that there is to know about social justice movements, especially if you are not of the global majority or of a marginalized community do not show up into spaces as savior. Arrive as guests, as allies.
Aries is hot-headed. Aries is connected to ego, self. I am the warrior, I am the fighter, I know everything and I'm gonna fix all the things. So be really intentional about how you are showing up in these activism spaces at this time.
I talk a lot about activism, one because it's Aries season again connected to planet Mars, the fighting of conflict, but also because one of the goals of this membership is to assist people who sometimes feel stuck on shore of where their role is in the revolution or feel kind of stuck or overwhelmed about how to fight um or how to create supportive networks of care during collapse. So through these horoscopes, especially in Aries Season, but probably throughout this membership, I'll be talking about transits that can support this work.
Moving on to the next transit on April 16th, we have a Chiron cazimi. Chiron is currently in Aries. All these planets are in Aries, I'm telling you. It's a hot-headed year y'all. And so we're gonna be experiencing another Cazimi. if you remember. This is when this planet is going to move into the heart, into the center of the Sun. It's gonna get its full power, its full energy, its full intention. There's some burnings, some purification.
Chiron is a planet that is associated with the wounded healer archetype. In Greek mythology, Chiron was half man, half horse. He was cast off by his mother. In one of the stories, she was raped by one of the gods. After giving birth abandoned him. I think due to his appearance, but also the trauma associated with his conception.
Apollo the sun godtook him under his care and gave him the resources and the tools to study. He's very well educated, particularly around medicine and healing. Later he accidentally poisoned himself with one of his own concoctions. This is where this wounded healer archetype comes from.
So, Chiron is about the places in our lives where we have experienced the most harm, the most wounds, and how we can utilize those experiences or tap into those experiences for medicine, medicine for ourselves and to be shared with the collective.
Now I do want to say that I don't believe that we are supposed to be experiencing all the harm, all the violence, all the exploitation. We are living under empire, which creates a lot of unnecessary experiences of poverty, of harm, of abuse. And so I'm not one of those people who believe all of our harmful experiences are medicine. So be really intentional about which ones you're wanting to work with, which one you're wanting to harness, and which ones you're wanting to turn into medicine to share. It doesn't have to be everything.
But this Cazimi and particularly could be an opportune time to do some purification or some cleansing around some of those experiences. Particularly around, because it's going to be an Aries. Wounds that are caused by the fight. Or to harmful experiences with bosses or parental figures or any authority figures.
We're at a time where the collective, I think for the first time, is just starting to maybe kind of understand how politicians in power, how billionaires, people with a lot of privilege and power are wielding it to cause harm for the collective.
There's been systems and structures that intentionally make us think that we are powerless. This is a good time to do some healing work around these themes.
Do some practices that incorporate surrender fire. Write things down, burning them, burning objects, movement, ecstatic dancing, things like that, that can help you to move and process some of this energy and these experiences. And we might be seeing it in the collective, like, just more information coming out about systemic harm, abuse of power. So please be taking care of yourself during this time.
Don't feel bad about taking a break from social media, from being really intentional about what media you're consuming, limiting your doom scrolling because there might be even more information. The epstein files recently came out. There might be some more information like that coming out.
For those of us who live in marginalized bodies that have been experiencing oppression, stomach oppression for generations, this information isn't new to us.
We've known it, it's in our bones, it's in our bodies, it's in our nervous system, so take even more care. Be even more discerning about what information you are consuming. Watch out for inflammation and the heating of your systems.
In medical astrology Aries is connected to the head, so watch out for headaches, for head injuries, keeping your head cool. If you're a practitioner of IFA or Hoodo, I'm talking specifically to listeners who are of African diaspora. Make sure you're doing your head washes, making sure you're keeping your head cool and covered at this time. It will be really beneficial at this time.
This will be the last transit, April 13th before the Chiron Cazimi we're gonna be experiencing a sextile between Venus and Taurus in Jupiter and Cancer and this is really supportive energy.
Venus, as we know, is a planet of love and beauty and creativity. And ancient astrology, it's connected to the warrior, queen goddess who fights for marginalized folks, who is an advocate of pleasure activism. And we have it sextiling Jupiter.
We have Venus and Taurus, Earth sign, sextiling, Jupiter and Cancer, a water sign. And Jupiter is a planet associated with expansion, luck, unity, collaboration, um philosophy, and Cancer is a water sign planet associated with nourishment, spirituality, and your intuition.
This is a time where individually or collectively we might experience boost or nourishment around our resources, our physical material resources, but also our spiritual and emotional resources as well. It's a good time to come together with your loved ones to do a potluck or some sort of clothing swap or a craft night. Time to share concerns about how the collapse of certain systems may be impacting your lives and dream up new systems and patterns of care, cultures of care, that can support you all during this time of collapse.
Really tap into the sextile on April 13th. prepare for the Chiron cazimi
That's going to be happening on the 16th.
So overall, Aries season is going to be hot. It's going to be intense. There's going to be conflict. There's going to be friction. But tap into the specific transits of these aspects to prepare yourself, to prepare your communities, to identify timing that might be best for certain types of different actions or collaborations or care work. Know that if you are feeling heated or stimulated, it's not just you. It's in the air. It's in the stars.
Be intentional about trying to cool down, staying hydrated, finding ways to release this excess energy that might be coming up. Just taking really good care of your body, of your spirit, of your and looking out for your community members.
Alright y'all, I hope this transit deep dive was helpful. Please feel free to return to it throughout Aries season and really throughout the year because all of these transits kind of blend into each other, energies merge.
